cobas p 512 pre-analytical system
Flexible front-end and back-end solution for medium and high volume laboratories
The flexible cobas p 512 pre-analytical system is designed to perform front-end and back-end tasks in the most demanding environment. The basic configuration consists of decapping, sorting and archiving functions. The modular concept allows to expand to full scale automation.
Camera options help identifying physical aspects of the tube and serum aspects. For archiving and send outs an optional multi-diameter Recapping Module is available to close primary tubes and aliquots. The cobas p 512 pre-analytical system is suitable for organizing the total process with primary tubes only. Sorting will be done by priority, allowing a single tube to access different areas and to finally end up in the archive. The optional pick & place module connects to so called conveyor systems. Flexibility means the ability to use a mix of tubes from different suppliers of blood collection tubes and to use racks of your choice. With a maximum throughput of up to 1,200 tubes per hour and its large input and output area, the cobas p 512 pre-analytical system is the perfect system to handle higher workloads. For ideal ergonomics all loading areas are easy accessible. The low noise level ensures comfortable and stress-free working.
