A fully automated and clearly structured workflow in the lab is completed by the function of (Re)Capping of the for analysis opened plastic primary and secondary tubes. If samples are archived unsealed in the cooling chamber evaporation processes will result. Tubes with different heights and diameters can be selectively sealed in one automated run. The sealed tubes can be used for send-outs and – in case of proper storage – continuous sample quality without evaporation is maintained. This simplifies the ability to keep up with increasing quality regulations in laboratories.
