In a laboratory a multitude of tubes has to be analyzed and then be archived within a few hours (automated mapping of samples after analysis). In this connection fast retrieval and controllability of the samples is extremely important and has to be guaranteed. A central element in archiving is the sample distributor which initially represents an interface between sample preparation and analysis. After the analysis each tube returns to the sample distributor where it will be checked if there are further open requests for tests. In case of additional demands the tube will be sorted again into the corresponding analyzer-rack. After the sample has been processed it will be put on an archive-rack. This archive position will be transmitted to the host to ensure a fast retrieval of the archived samples in case of implausible results or additional demands without the necessity of taking blood from the patient again. Please find in the following products which will optimize the archiving processes in your lab.
